Team Building and Leadership Experiences
True Vine Foundation uniquely partners with FCA by offering teams a discount if they will allow FCA to share the Gospel with their team during their experience at True Vine. Multiple schools in West Alabama teams have taken advantage of that discount and have benefitted by hearing the life-changing truth of Jesus Christ.
Athletic teams from Tuscaloosa Academy, Hillcrest, Central High School, Holt High School, Hale County Middle School, American Christian Academy, Northridge High School, and University of West Alabama spent a day in authentic team-building experiences at True Vine Foundation this summer. Each team was put to the test through the use of high ropes and character development led by Sergeant Major Lee Garcia. West Alabama Fellowship of Christian Athletes was there to minister to the athletes and deliver a message of hope in Jesus Christ. Being part of these team-building experiences has fostered relationships with teams that will continue throughout the course of the year.
Few teams have the privilege of burying the tree trunk they carried throughout the Character Development Course as a permanent reminder that they came together as a team by dying to self. Those teams are honored with a special headstone on their team's stake in the True Vine Foundation Graveyard.
